But the whole idea is that the user does not need to know tcl. I certainly do not want to use it. all i and probably other users want is to be able to pass an option to control what happens at reset. this is fine now for telnet/gdb mon interface for scripts you have access to, but like i said in the previous email - gdb events are internal. we need to able to configure what gdb does on a detach/reset packet. sounds more the like the old functionality by the minute.
