Oyvind & All,

Perhaps a good general cleaning of OpenOCD would be a good idea. Today,
it is compiled without any warnings enabled.

I noticed this - because I am reasonably pedantic about not having
warnings in code I write, and turned them on which exposes a bit of
krusty-ness in the overall OpenOCD.

Specifically I believe -Wall, -Wstrict-prototypes, and
-Wmissing-prototypes should result in ZERO warnings - real pendants go
further.

I believe that at least reasonably simplistic things should be fixed,
and I should not be introducing new warnings :-)

-Duane.
