I have the same kind of problem on Colibri PXA270 module, with different b/l
so I'll add a bit.

No, eboot and u-boot do not configure anything regarding MMU.
CPU cache is probably turned on somehow, though, but there's no
indication regarding this.

both u-boot and eboot think in terms of physical memory and never touch MMU.

I can test anything which could help somehow to resolve PXA270 problems
