Ditto for GraphViz. :) Here are the two web documents that I refer to
myself frequently for LaTeX details:
Getting Started with LaTeX:
http://www.maths.tcd.ie/~dwilkins/LaTeXPrimer/index.html
Getting to Grips with LaTeX:
LaTeX Tutorials by Andrew Roberts @ School of Computing, University of
Leeds:
http://www.andy-roberts.net/misc/latex/
Feel free to contact me off-list with LaTeX-specific questions, but it
sounds like a bare skeleton might be best to bootstrap this effort.
Assuming that no-one in the community objects to adding a new
doc/user_ref tree for this purpose, I can probably get the basic
document pieces ready for patching in fairly short order. Sound good?
Cheers,
Zach
