Ok then, this will be a good opportunity to dive into OpenOCD source
and attempt to write LPC1700 Flash support myself.

LPC176x parts seems to be in production now and are available to order
(promised sample delivery in 2 weeks, commercial order in 4-5 weeks).
LPC1758 (the only 80 pin package with Ethernet MAC) has somewhat
longer lead time (6+ weeks, samples also take 6 weeks). The only thing
I am afraid to some extent is possible silicon bugs in early revisions
that might intefere with development.

Kind regards,
Audrius
