Yes, that's the first thing I checked, as that's what google will tell you, but this is the latest unmodified version from git, and it's 0x0A all the way for line endings.
Unless the compiler itself converts files to DOS on the fly, I don't think this is the issue here... That xscale_debug.S was only recently added to the git tree.
