Something else that would be nice -- either from you or from
someone else: a simple test program which exercises all the
SYS_* requests, and everything else visible through semihosting.
Ideally covering both success and failure cases for everything.
But ... if nothing else, just a basic sanity test.

p.s. I've checked in some stuff recently, primarily cleanups
but also a few diagnostic fixes. Didn't sene copies to
the list mostly because they're so minor.
