I was referring to instruction breakpoints, not data breakpoints (aka watchpoints). Indeed, my patch for watchpoint / data breakpoint masks (aka watchpoint length) uses the feature you cite. Sorry, I should have been more explicit in my remark. Too many overloaded terms.
