When you post a git patch, you typically get some feedback ;-) I think it would be better to spell out "bytes" here to avoid confusion with kilo bits... I don't know if there is such a thing as a "correct" way to write kBytes/s in English. I do believe "k" should be lowercase?
"kg" => kilogram though...
