Nope. The SI prefix for kilo("1000") is a lower-case "k", so kB/s, would
be correkt - let's use correct teminology, please.
Now I don't have an opinion regarding 1000/1024, as long as the correct
prefix is used:
kB/s for 1000 Bytes/s
KiB/s for 1024 bytes/s
