Hello,

I'm new to openocd but have been using it with the gumstix verdex
product and wanted to share this capability with some other users who
have been asking for this.

I hope this is an acceptable way to submit a patch. Please let me
know if any corrections/formatting are needed or if there are
additional sign-offs required.

Many thanks to all the developers working on this very useful piece of software.
