Hi friends! I was contacted by the chair of the International Fundraising Conference and asked to submit a proposal to the Leadership/Management track. The conference is almost exactly a year from now, end of April 2017. Initially, I sort of thought “Uh, fundraising isn’t really my beer”, but then I chatted with her.
She’s interested in my work and writing around meritocracy, principles of open and creating an open organization and wants to stir up the fundraising community with the ideas and ideals of all things OPEN. I would like to submit 2 proposals – on that is a practical workshop that aims to help participants become more open, and another with YOU one that gets all meta-theoretical on open structures and behaviors in a panel. Deadline is too soon (surprise, surprise) on May 6th. If you have interest and time in the next couple of weeks, let’s set up a co-working session and bang out a proposal for that panel?
