Hi all,
I am positively chuffed to announced that Jonas Rosland has agreed to
become an Open Organization Ambassador.
Jonas works as the community manager for {code}, Dell's global community
of open source programmers and enthusiasts. In fact, he wrote about his
experience building that community for _The Open Organization Workbook_
last year.[1] Jonas brings to the group a wealth of knowledge about
building and engaging passionate communities that embody an open spirit.
But on top of that, he thinks deeply and critically about best practices
for bridging that ever-important divide between communities and other
organizational structures.
Jonas is a strong advocate for the power of openness at work inside the
enterprise, too. He wrote about inter-team communication practices for
_The Open Organization Guide to IT Culture Change_ many months ago.[2]
If you'd like to learn more about Jonas before meeting him on his first
ambassador call, you can read (and listen!) to his recent interview on
The New Stack.[3]
Welcome, Jonas! We're thrilled to be sharing and learning with you.
Sincerely,
Bryan
