Welcome to the July 2018 edition of the Open Organization Ambassadors
Report! Read on to see what our community of writers, coaches, managers,
consultants, and other leaders have been doing to spread open
organization principles across the globe.
We published five new articles in July—four of which came from members
of the Open Organization Ambassadors community. That means ambassadors
contributed 80 percent of the new material we enjoyed this month. Thank
an ambassador today!
Overall, open organization materials generated 13,693 page views at
Opensource.com, and we maintained our No. 1 search ranking for "what is
the open organization."
Participating in this effort with such wonderful people continues to be
my pleasure. I can't wait to see what we do next.
Editorially yours,
Bryan

#### {5} Looking Ahead ####
###########################
The next meeting of the Open Organization Ambassadors will be August 16,
2018 at 10:00 Eastern / 14:00 UTC. Ambassadors attending the meeting
should by all means add their discussion items to the meeting agenda,
now open for editing. [1]

Our ambassador program description hasn't been updated since January
2017 (roughly 18 months ago!), so ambassadors are taking a look at it in
order to determine what (if any) modifications might be necessary [2].
Want to influence the program description and terms? Just head to GitHub
to file an issue in the project repository, or email Bryan directly with
your questions, comments, suggestions, and other feedback.

Laura Hilliger writes:
"I published an update on our Planet 4 project [1]. Want to help change
the world? I can help you find a way to contribute to Greenpeace's first
open source project. Just send me a note!"

Jen Kelchner writes:
"LDR21 is looking for a few interested folks to aid in getting a GitHub
project off the ground. It will help the Open community build a lexicon
of words typically used in DevOps, Leadership, and Organizational roles.
This would look something like building a roster of common terms and
their definitions for both the "tech" side and the "people/ops" side.
Anyone interested in participating should contact me. [1]
Also, LDR21 is offering a new way to learn more on OpenOrg, Leadership
and Culture through Change Labs. Change Lab content will be offered via
podcast, subscription, and corporate engagement events. The Change Lab
podcast releases on August 1st with the first run on Digital
Transformation with 5 episodes! You can learn more at our website." [2]

"I am enjoying a few weeks off from my day job, so I am picking up on
some articles I have had in my queue for a long time. In particular,
I'll pick up my current draft for the Open Organization community. [1]
