The open organization community remains hard at work on a second edition
of _The Open Organization Leaders Manual_. Manual authors are currently
editing their submissions in response to editor feedback. As always,
work is ongoing at GitHub.[1] The book is scheduled for release in December.

The Open Organization Ambassador roster at Opensource.com received a
face-lift, and now includes details on ambassadors' "areas of
specialty." Now visitors will know precisely who to contact with their
questions about open and inclusive leadership, community building,
scaling organizational values, open decision-making, and more.[2]

In September, authors contributing to the second edition of _The Open
Organization Leaders Manual_ will be revising their work. We still have
space for one or two excellent chapters—so if you know an open-minded
writer who'd like to be published, please help us make the connection.[2]
