Hi everyone, I have some wonderful news: Ben Owens has agreed to become an Open Organization Ambassador.
Ben is an open education expert who's especially interested in the ways scholastic organizations might function more openly. For 11 years, Ben was a physics and math teacher before becoming an engineer—and now he leads his own organization, Open Way PBL, which is dedicated to sewing the seeds of openness in schools around the world.[1] He's also the author of the recently released (and most excellent) book _Open Up, Education!_, available now from Rowman & Littlefield [2], which cites a few familiar sources! Ben has already published his first article as part of our ongoing "Open Organization in Education" series, and his next piece is already in the queue (ready for 2019!).[3] He's been writing and speaking about open organization principles at work in education for some time [4], and I'm just giddy thinking about all he'll bring to the ambassador community.
