### Editor's Note ###

Welcome, friends, to the official launch of our community's 2019
publishing year!

This month, in addition to our regularly scheduled and always
outstanding programming, we'll be publishing a series of _bonus
articles_ aimed at helping you start your year on the right foot. Jono
Bacon, Angela Robertson, Jim Whitehurst, and Jason Hibbets have all
prepared pieces that should be helpful to you as you set your
resolutions and intentions for 2019. Stay tuned!

And as is tradition, we're kicking off the year with a new article from
ambassador Angela Robertson. Angela explores the question of privacy for
leaders who choose an open approach. This one's sure to generate some
discussion. Enjoy!
