There are a lot of improvements going on right now in openPBX.org here are a few:
1) a new branch has been created of high resolution sound files, more to come. 2) Universal jitter buffer borrowed from asterisk 3) core dumps - improved - if not fixed, for easier debugging. 4) At least one developer doing heavy testing to meet a fairly aggressive reliability goal. 5) Steps toward removing Zaptel timer dependencies. Thanks to everyone who continues to work on the code and its maintenance as well as support the project. We are very close to a .2 release. If somebody feels brave we need a volunteer to look at some fixes in chan_sip, let me know if you are interested. Otherwise feel free to visit trac.openpbx.org and take a look at where we could use some help.
