Yea, that known that there are lot of even dialects of ISUP - but core base, basic function - it's already a GOOD start (I've tryed mentioned chan_ss7 myself - and I can say that it's working, and even failover is realized) - so that would be a good start for (maybe sometimes in future) for a full SS7 support in opensource solutions.
