I believe I was using a GSM codec, but I wouldn't swear to it. Certainly I _have_ had GSM codecs working in either Asterisk or OpenPBX in the past, on my PowerBook G4 running FC6 (or maybe FC5 last time I tested GSM). I can't test right now since I've got nothing local to connect to and the bandwidth from here it just too appalling.
