(please excuse my cross-post) We are going to get this name change issue wound up and get on with the project. We are going to accept additional submissions for a new name until March 5. To make a submission, the name must not conflict with an existing trademark in any country, and must be registered as a domain name. You must be willing to freely transfer the domain name to the project. Names can be submitted to this list, or to xming - or post on the forums.
Voting will take place on http://forum.openpbx.org Voting will end on March 10th. At that time we will have a run-off vote between the top two vote-getters (which may be different than your favorites) ending on March 12. RC4 will be released under the new name shortly thereafter. You will not be compensated in any way for your name contribution - other than the satisfaction you will bask in from having your name selected. Key dates: March 5, end of name submissions March 10, end of voting, March 12, end of run-off voting. Thank you to everyone for your suggestions, both serious and comical! We have some good momentum going on the project now.
