As far as I recall, there was once a consensus that any name that hints at Asterisk were considered to send a signal "this is the wannabe-asterisk project" and suggestions such as Ampersand, AsterFOO, StarFOO, StellarFOO etc were then categorically ruled out. I also recall that about a month ago or so there was a consensus that no new name suggestions should be accepted any further.
