I want to implement it in real-life (IP-to-IP), but I need support for T.38.
It works this way: the calls come in G729 preferred, and the outbound call
is only G711. The software must transcode and if it detects a fax, change
the codec back to G711 on the inbound call, and send the fax via G711 to the
terminating gateway.

Is this something that is doable right now? I have a box that we can use for
testing. I also have a g729AB transcoding for Asterisk that has no license
limits.

Yours truly,

Federico

Subject: [Openpbx-users] Do you run OpenPBX.org in production?

If you run OpenPBX.org in a production or near-production environment, send
me an email or respond to the list. We want to find out what the barriers
are to bringing it into production in your environment as part of setting
development goals.

So far major hang-ups include SIP and generators.
If you have other concerns such as transfers, voicemail, whatever, please
present those as well.

Thanks for your consideration
