Hello everyone,
Long time reader first time poster.
Okay, anyways. I am the creator of AstLinux:
http://www.astlinux.org
At the moment, I only have builds that feature another well known open
source PBX project that shares the first three letters of my project.
Got the hint? Great, now we are all on the same page.
Moving on, I am working on a new development environment based off of
buildroot2. It uses kconfig and Makefiles, so it is nice and simple. I
am very interested in adding openpbx support to this development
environment. This is my plan as of now:
1) Create an easy to use (and configure) build environment, while
keeping the same principles, init system, utilities, etc from AstLinux.
2) Add support for SER, OpenSER, FreeSwitch, OpenPBX, Yate, etc, etc.
3) Create daily builds/releases of AstLinux (built from Asterisk-enabled
build environment), as well as soon-to-be-named AstLinux like distros
featuring the software projects I mentioned above.
What I am looking for is someone/some people who are very familiar with
OpenPBX and feel that they could help in creating BR2 Makefiles,
Config.in, init scripts, etc. I'd like to be more familiar with it
myself, but I am working on this build environment and don't have a ton
of time. I have a very alpha build environment now. You can grab it here:
svn co http://svn.astlinux.org/astlinux/trunk astlinux-devel
Send me your patches for now, I will be setting up branches and the
like in due time.
Thanks!
