We have all-in-one installation ISO. It has latest CentOS, yesterday's
OpenPBX.org trunk (SVN-2589), few usefull components and utils and trial
version of ThirdLane PBX Manager software (it's at final stage of
adoptation to OpenPBX.org - as far as I know it's the first
administrator and user interface web GUI adopted for OpenPBX.org project).

It's like TrixBox - you should boot from ISO, answer two Qs - timezone
and root pass - and have a break until the whole system will be installed
and configured in unattended way... It works perfect with standalone PCs
and VMWARE. Separate VMWARE image will be available till tomorrow...

With this distro you are not binded to PBX Manager (it's a commercial
software installed there with trial license valid for 2 weeks) and
configure OpenPBX manually. Anyway you will have working system just
in few keyclicks and zero headache...

We made this distro for our own marketing and technical needs but it
can be easily used as OpenPBX evaluation package. Probably we can
modify it for needs of the OpenPBX community - say add some other GUI
or some other componets (e.g. SugarCRM is expected very soon).

You can get it here - www.asterroid.com - at _this particular moment_ it
has ISO for Asterik 1.4 only but in an hour or so it will has saparate
ISO with OpenPBX...

Any feedback is appreciated...

As for LiveCD with the same distro - it's expected in 2-3 weeks.

As for ThirdLane PBX Manager software - we have choosed it as
replacement of TrixBox which we used as installation source for our
client's IP PBXs for two years (we are ITSP). At some moment we were
tired with Trixbox instability and decided to switch to some commercial
GUI. Currently PBX Manager has fixed price of $345.00 per
installation with unlimited extensions, but as far as I know it's
developers are at final stage of switching to some tiered pricing
and small installations should have very affordable price...
This software is an application module of famous Webmin management
software which adds more security and flexibility for the server
administration. Very soon this soft will be eqipped with MS Outlook
Dialer (beta testing now). Some switchboard panel ala HUDLite is also under
development.
