There is now a new maintainance frontend utility for OpenPKG-CURRENT
instances. Just install the new "openpkg-tool" package and read the
openpkg(1) manual page. It basically allows you to automatically update
your OpenPKG-CURRENT instance with a single command:
$ <prefix>/bin/openpkg build -Ua | sh -
Try it out and give us feedback.
