You might consider keeping gnuchess and xboard together as a group. They are like sister and brother, or fish and octopus if you prefer. If you upgrade xboard to PLUS you then promote xaw3d as well, because it is a dependency. However this is probably a good thing, because x11 is already a BASE package. Regards, Michael
