Sh*t :) You're right, it is in openpkg.spec. The funny thing is that i
had to fix it on three machines and _every_ time i edited openpkg.boot
first :)
I just see, that the bootstrap still fails under Solaris 2.6 and 8
SPARC and under Solaris 8 and 9 x86. At least for me. I've seen
"/usr/local/"...something at least on one machine. I'll report later.

PS: Don't hit me, but in some messages i see "PREPERATION..." - shouldn't
    it read PREPARATION ?                         ^
