Hi

No, yum doesn't have a GUI, although it might be a nice project for
someone to do with python-gtk.

I put .src.rpms of all my stuff at http://hepgrid1.caltech.edu/openpkg/

The yum port is actually a fork at this stage, called 'clump' because I
intend to add some Grid features to it for my Clarens project
(clarens.sf.net, shameless plug ;-)

If someone wants to rename it back to yum, just do a s/clump/yum/g on
all the files and create a diff with yum-2.0.1. The regular yum package
has some hard-coded paths in the source, which will show up in the
resulting diff.

To make the package work, also grab rpm-python, libxml, and libiconv
from the same place.

Cheers

Conrad
