No, the vendor does not name it libodbcxx. It would be correct (according
to the vendor's wishes) to name it libodbc++. Because that conflicts with
our self made naming rules, I chose the one you see. There's no disadvantage
in changing it to libodbcxx if you prefer that, however. Let me know what
you decide.
