Will OpenPKG add patches on its packages packages (both the bootstrap
and src.rpm) to make the following assumption :

powerpc-ibm-os400 = powerpc-ibm-aix5.2.0.0

The problem is that OpenPKG could be easily tweaked but what about the
545 packaged tools ?

Ideally if we could have a mecanism (in rpm maybe) to tell that a rpm
built on powerpc-ibm-aix5.2.0.0 in working on powerpc-ibm-os400, we
could 'lie' to all packages configure and make them as if they were
built on a true AIX 5.2.

Do you see what I mean (my english is still very bad) ?
