On AIX, but it may be also on others platform, you could have a native
(OS) assembler and GNU Assembler.

It seems the Beecrypt configure detect an AIX system and use
automatically the ASSEMBLY synthax for native assembler even if the
GNU AS (GAS), is present in the PATH and even before the native  AIX
assembler.

To overcome the problem, I should rename the GNU AS binary to avoid it
to being used.

Could the configure check that GAS is present and use it in favor of
native assembler ?
