Hmmm... I doubt that your problem is really about gcrypt. The DOM stuff is all about XML and even after removing gcrypt and gpg-error and building "apache" under with_mod_php=yes and with_mod_php_dom=yes on rm0.openpkg.net I see no problem. The only thing PHP picked up is the libxml/libxslt stuff (as expected) plus libcrypt.a for crypt(3).
