The DB_File piece within perl-db wasn't being built correctly under Solaris. It needs to have the -lrt added to it's compile options. I added a section in the spec file to address this for Solaris systems and uploaded it to the contrib area. After some cross platform testing this should be put into UPD areas. This is a known problem under 2.3. Not sure if the problem still exists under 2.4 because we haven't upgraded to that as of yet.
