I previously successfully bootstrapped openpkg-20050920 (with SGI cc rather than gcc), and I read that bootstrapping shouldn't be attempted again unless the existing installation is completely removed - which I'm not overly keen on doing ;) I had heard discussion of IRIX moving to "supported" status in a future release (or even, previously, this 2.5 release?) - is this still the plan, or has it gone onto the back-burner? P.S. Is it possible to some donate low-end SGI hardware to the OpenPKG Foundation in order to accelerate the IRIX development effort? I know a few people with spare machines and potentially an interest in this... ______________________________________________________________________ The OpenPKG Project www.openpkg.org Developer Communication List openpkg-dev@openpkg.org
