Greetings everyone....

WE DID IT!!!  We passed the 100,000 mark on the subscription list!  And in less than a year, too!  MNN turns one year old (as a web magazine) on June 15th.  Time does fly when we're having fun!  And it's been fun... we want to thank each and every one of you for reading MNN and staying on the mailing list.

For those of you in the industry, you know what we mean when we say "We are SO not looking forward to this next week!"  (Actually, we are, but it wouldn't be any fun if we didn't get a chance to complain now and then about what we really love - the music industry!)  It's CMA Music Festival week (formerly known as "FanFair") in Nashville, and it is going to be a BUSY one - 16 hour days, running here and there, interviews, photo shoots, concerts...  heck, what's NOT to love about that!

We ask you to be patient with us - because it's such a busy week, it might be a little bit before we answer your e-mails.  But we will get to all of them - well, except for the love pill salesmen, those who want to refinance our house or the Chief Executive Officer of the European Lottery who just happens to be the widow of the former Liberian President.  (I didn't know polygamy was legal in Liberia - with the number of widows who have contacted me, Mr. Taylor must have had a thousand wives!)

We'll be putting up photos, interviews and articles from CMA Music Festival Week in the days and weeks after the event so make sure to check back daily and see what's here.

Want to know what's happening with your favorite artist?  Check out the LATEST NEWS page every day.  When it happens, MNN reports it.  Do you like Broadway plays?  If so, you'll want to make sure to get tickets for Lion King coming to TPAC this coming October for 6 weeks.  Tickets go on sale June 10 and are expected to sell out quickly.

Make sure to check out the SHOWCASES AND EVENTS page on MNN for the latest info on showcases and other things happening around Nashville.  Also, TODAY'S EVENTS lists all the clubs in town where you can go to hear live music.

Music News Nashville now has some merchandise.  Yes, that's right... we're selling hats and t-shirts, with more to come.  Get a hat and t-shirt today and show your support of Music News Nashville.  CLICK HERE to view the merchandise page.
