July 2 Music News Nashville (http://www.musicnewsnashville.com)

June 2, 2006
Volume 2, Issue 13

Greetings to all

A thought from Dan...

You know, I love my job. I have the opportunity to attend major events, meet
artists and songwriters, network with music industry execs, and more. But when
I'm at those events and someone is trying to address the crowd, I always do my
best to remain respectful and keep my conversations to a minimum. It's only
polite, right? After all, they invited me there so it's proper for me to stop
talking and listen to what they have to say. I can network and get my
conversations in before and after the ceremonies. Just a thought. (Okay, Dan
just jumped down from his soap box.) That said...

Welcome to another edition of Music News Nashville. We hope we've overcome the
glitches we had of a couple weeks ago and got our e-mail lists straightened
out. If you receive the TEXT-ONLY edition and want to get the graphics
version, please e-mail Dan and include HTML VERSION in the subject line.

We have a ton of new photos, new articles and a batch of things from CMA week
on the MNN website this week. AND WE'RE STILL WORKING TO CATCH UP! Make sure
to log on today and see the current stories, and again Wed. and Thursday of
this coming week when we put up even more new ones.

a chance for a REAL job in Nashville, believe it or not. Also, make sure to
check out the information for the Music City Hit Makers weekend at the Gaylord
Opryland Hotels and Resort.

Check out MNN to enter contests to win Brad Paisley stuff. Songwriters, check
out the Competitions and Submissions page for contests you can enter. Want to
know what's happening with your favorite artist? Check out the LATEST NEWS
