I would somewhat agree. Although at the last LISA I went to the SAGE member meeting and someone requested that LISA have more focus on open source projects and the committee said that wasn't LISA/SAGES's focus. So I am not sure if they would go for it or not. But it is worth a try. I do agree that LISA attendees would really benefit from OpenPKG. Also a similar competitor to OpenPKG is usually at the LISA vendor exhibits, http://www.thewrittenword.com/.
