FYI: As always, OpenPKG-CURRENT is tracking the ultimate bleeding edge
of Open Source software development. The latest of our offerings are a
fully packaged GnuPG 2.0 under the package name "gnupg2" -- including
its myriad of new dependency libraries and tools like "libassuan",
"libksba", "pinentry", etc ;-)

You've still not heard about GnuPG 2.0? Well, just read:
http://lists.gnupg.org/pipermail/gnupg-announce/2006q4/000239.html

You can even install the "gnupg2" package in addition to your "gnupg"
package and this way easily play with the new GnuPG 2.0. Why all
this matters? Well, GnuPG 2.0 is a major milestone. My personal most
anticipated feature is gpg-agent(1), an ssh-agent(1) style agent for
OpenPGP keys. Well, according to the docs it actually should support
SSH keys as well, so it can be a full drop-in replacement for the
all-dancing-all-singing ssh-agent(1). But as I was totally busy to
package this for us, I'd still no time to try it out myself... ;-)
