Now fixed by adding the dependency. http://cvs.openpkg.org/chngview?cn=33934 > - missing BuildPreReq: pkgconfig Now fixed by adding the dependency. http://cvs.openpkg.org/chngview?cn=33934 > - missing BuildPreReq: db-3.1 Hmmm... there is no DB 3.x package any longer in OpenPKG CURRENT and the "apt" package built just fine for me even without any DB 3.x. I see that APT's autoconf stuff searches for DB 1.x, but it built just fine. > - apt.patch removes -ldl in lua/Makefile.in, which prevents > from building on at least: FC3, RH3.4, RH4.4 > (removing patch to lua/Makefile.in fixes the problem on these platforms) Ok, now fixed by adjusting the patch from a hard-coded "-ldl" to a conditional "-ldl". http://cvs.openpkg.org/chngview?cn=33934 > is this package still maintainted ? if not what is the process to > become a maintainer ? Everyone can help and maintain particular OpenPKG packages. Just send your changes to openpkg-dev@openpkg.org and bother someone of the OpenPKG Foundation e.V. to pick it up and commit it to the official repository. Or even become a member of the OpenPKG Foundation e.V. yourself and this way receive full write access to the OpenPKG repository for directly maintaining packages. Ralf S.
