Hmmm... seems like I'm starting to become crazy. I'm thought on rm9.openpkg.net, a Solaris 10 (sparc64) box, it worked without the workaround. You're right, no REG_STARTEND anywhere there. Anyway, with the workaround already applied it the package builds fine there now. Sorry for giving misinformation. Ralf S.
