That's a rather out of date document, but the basic ideas are OK. We
ought to put a newer version on the Wiki.

There are peer directories for branches and tags. As noted earlier, I've
tagged the initial GCC mainline import.

Well it will be whatever Apache has specified for authentication over
HTTP. There is probably some magic incantation to get SVN to tell you.
You can run SVN over https, but since OpenCores doesn't use https
elsewhere, there seems little point in implementing it for SVN.
