Hello Franck,
We tried the version which was a candidate for inclusion into upstream (393965)
with the advanced debug interface but unfortunately had this issue there as
well. The trick you indicate is present in that code.

Hi Jakob,
We are now using the upstream version of OpenOCD. Could you give it a try ?
It has a trick which could fix the problem you are describing [1].
The official OpenOCD supports only the advanced debug interface.
