PHP3 -vs- PHP4

As someone else suggested I got the newer php4 release and overwrote
the existing one including the php4ts.dll in all locations.

I still am getting GPF's.

Is there any reados I couldn't get the binary for PHP3 
and is it instead of the one iincluded in OpenSA 0.20 ???

I really need to get the MySql functions to work and be stable.
