Hi, Looking into changing the amfd - amfnd protocol I am facing some issues. Howto use MDS versions is really not described or understandable.
Let's say for example that you want to add an parameter (simple int) in an existing message. How do you go about it? It seems you have to bump the "installed mds version" at both ends (amfd and amfnd). One problem here is that this there is no scheme for doing this. Let's say you have version X released and version X+1 released in the next opensaf major version. This makes it impossible to fix problems in the older release since how do you squeeze in an X+0.5 in there? Can we have a discussion?
