PLM fails to build with GCC version 4.6.3. The build problems are all due to
the warning -Werror=unused-but-set-variable, for example like below:
plms_hrb.c: In function ‘hrb_process_hpi_req’:
plms_hrb.c:279:21: error: variable ‘session_id’ set but not used
[-Werror=unused-but-set-variable]
