** [tickets:#1066] osaf: Reboot supervision doesn't work when running as
non-root**

**Status:** accepted
**Milestone:** 4.4.2
**Created:** Thu Sep 11, 2014 01:11 PM UTC by Anders Widell
**Last Updated:** Thu Sep 11, 2014 01:11 PM UTC
**Owner:** Anders Widell

The reboot supervision added to the opensaf_reboot script when implementing
ticket [#437] requires root permissions for writing to /proc/sysrq-trigger, but
is not using the sudo command to do this. Therefore, it doesn't work properly
when OpenSAF is running as a non-root user.
