Sounds like a nice enhancement, but the state of this ticket needs to be
changed to fixed or .. ?

amfd already had an internal function that could dump its state to file but
there was no external trigger other than using gdb.
It is proposed to have an admin op that triggers this dump.
The state file should have a unique name (include PID).
The printed state itself should be improved to include all relevant info.
