The README.SASTRINGT_API consists of statement:
"All the other flags may also be used in combination with SA_IMM_ATTR_DN, with
the normal meaning."
ATTR_DN can be used with only SaStringT type attributes.
The above should be made cleare by pointing out that by "flags" is meant
SaImmAttrFlagsT values.
