*/etc/opensaf/nid.conf* contains **NIDFIFO** which is not changable runtime.
Changing this does not work becuase it is also defined compile time:
osaf/libs/core/leap/nid_ipc.c
#define NID_FIFO PKGLOCALSTATEDIR "/nodeinit.fifo"
Any change to **NIDFIFO** for example:
NIDFIFO=$pkglocalstatedir/dir/nodeinit.fifo
Will make other services during start up to use
*$pkglocalstatedir/dir/nodeinit.fifo* and fail; the fifo file is created under
*$pkglocalstatedir*
By linking; the opensaf could start.
*ln -s /var/lib/opensaf/nodeinit.fifo /var/lib/opensaf/dir/nodeinit.fifo*
